Hello, Iā€™m Genevieve!

I retired from a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner career after 12 years of hospital work. I miss the babies and socializing with co-workers but it was a great decision to commit to my family and photography. Now I get my baby fix through photography.

I have been doing photography for 13 years. I relocated to the beautiful central coast of California just over 2 years ago from the Pacific Northwest. I am thoroughly enjoying meeting new families, exploring new locations and discovering new schools for preschool portraits.

It is my goal during every photography session to ensure that the family has a good time. As a mom of three I know that gathering the family for a photography session can feel overwhelming; setting the date, picking the outfits, and then hoping the weather cooperates, hoping everyone is well that day and in a good mood. Whew! I tell my families to dress comfortably, in something they feel good in and to come prepared to enjoy our time together. A relaxed family that is willing to have fun will always end up with great images!

This beautiful woman is one of my best friends from high school so obviously I was thrilled to photograph her and her husband recently as they await the arrival of their first baby. Fun fact: this baby is due on my birthday so she will arrive any day
Sometimes I can’t believe how busy I stay at my own house these days. Cooking, cleaning, exercising, homeschooling, laundry, getting outside, the occasional shower.....how did I ever even have time to leave my house before?!
