Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by! Allow me to tell you a little more about myself.
I grew up in New Mexico, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I have a serious love for green chile & all things spicy. If you find me sweating through a meal with a burning mouth I am thoroughly enjoying myself.
Over the years, I’ve also called Colorado and Washington home. Just over three years ago, my husband of 16 years and I decided it was time for a new adventure. We packed up our life, with our three kids, two bunnies and a cat in tow and made the move to the Central Coast of California. We had been in the Seattle area for 13 years and were excited to try life in a smaller town with rolling hills, sunshine (!), wineries and beautiful beaches. What we didn’t have here were any friends, family or a real reason to try life in San Luis Obispo. We took a chance on trying something new and we are so glad we did. This place is a true gem.
I have long loved photography but really got into it after my husband bought me my first DSLR in 2008. At the time I was working as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner so I started by photographing my colleagues through their pregnancies and then their newborns. What started as a hobby—snapping photos of friends and family—quickly turned into my own little business. Spending so much time with babies in the NICU allowed me to naturally connect with new mothers & families. I still love hearing birth stories and capturing this beautiful time in life through my lens.
I have three children who are growing faster than I would like. When I’m not driving them around with my doodle hanging out the window you can find me playing tennis, attending barre classes, making floral bouquets or walking my dog with a friend.

It brings me so much joy to interact with kids and families and capture a little snippet of their lives in beautiful, lasting images. No matter what phase of life your family is in, it is a great time to create lasting memories.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me a little better! Whether we’re connecting through photography or just swapping stories about life on the Central Coast, I’d love to hear from you.
